First off, I’d like to say hi and thank you to all the new followers I’ve gotten. @u@; Hiiiiiii. I art a lot, and I’ve only just begun Dragon Age-ing, so there will be plenty of that to go around in time. I hope. Derp.
ANYWAY.
I’ve got some rather big personal news. OuO A handful of you probably remember that I’m working for a local comic magazine. I’d hit a few snags along the way, preventing me from really getting into the work, and for a time I’d feared that I’d been removed from the team. Thankfully my boss is a lenient man, even if he’s not good with dates. xD
The first issue of the magazine goes into publishing in a couple months. I’ve got to crank out a handful of pages, but that’s not really a problem for what I have in store. More on that another time though. mostly because I have to keep it on the low.
WELL. I’ve got a gig selling art and pitching our magazine this March, for a local con. It’s only a day, but whatever you can get right? c: As well as another day con in June, run by quite a few people I know. Exciiiite.
The biggest news, however, is that I’ll most likely being attending Chicago Comic Con as part of Blueprint Saints this August. <insert flailing and screaming> Granted, I’m not looking forward to speaking in front of such a huge crowd, but I’m hoping to pitch a few comic ideas of my own while attending.
I’m afraid that, if ComicCon goes through, that Otakon will be a bust. Not that anyone aside from a few people knew that we were considering it, but those few are very important.
Work and opportunities are a must at this point. ;A;
I’ll still be attending SugoiCon in the fall, holding up in artist alley. This may be the last year, should the con management not get their shit together though. >:C Last year was a disaster.
Also, the possibility of attending college this fall. 8| My girlfriend and I moving into our, hopefully, forever home. So, yeah. A lot of big things happening this year. Ububububuuuu
